- The Lotus Scholar: These are the children on our scholarship scheme who are from low income families that cannot afford education

- Scholarship for basic education (Primary & Secondary)

- Health and wellbeing support for children:

- Partner with the health centers to give talks bothering on children’s health and well being
- Target United Nations days that addresses illness/diseases affecting children
- Give health related products/materials that will promote good health among children
- Program for Children with Learning or Physical Disabilities
Program
- Giving out of brails (for the visually impaired), walking & hearing aids and other educational materials
- Provide special education to the Children and enlightenment to the parents on ways to help them grow well.
Social Development Program for Children

- Celebrate special days with the children in their communities and also to create a sense of belonging for them
WOMEN PROGRAM
TARGET GROUP: Widows, Single Mothers and Women in Rural areas
Their programs include:
- Skill acquisition & Entrepreneurship Training:
Objectives
- To promote self-reliance and financial independence
- To promote women’s economic development
Program:
- Skill acquisition segments/trainings include:
- Soap making
- Catering
- Cake and Pastries
- Hair dressing
- Make up and gele trying
- Making of bags and covering/designing of shoe (not building from the scratch)
Duration of Training: 3-4weeks
Incentive: Provision of learning materials and start up materials for each participant at the end of the training
